DMCA Policy
Csm Author respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.
This policy describes the information that should be present in a DMCA notice, the procedure for submitting such a notice, and the process for submitting a counter-notification if your content has been removed due to a copyright claim.
Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed on Csm Author's platform, please provide our designated Copyright Agent with a written notice containing the following information. Please be aware that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you materially misrepresent that material or activity is infringing your copyrights.
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Csm Author to locate the material (e.g., the URL of the infringing content).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit Csm Author to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
